Now that 9ES has a new door, please be sure to open it in a very controlled fashion in gusty conditions (the same obviously applies to the main canopy) in order to keep them from getting pushed up briskly by the wind which can cause damage to the hinges.
Needless to say, please always double check that both doors are properly closed. If you have rear passengers, always check from the outside that their door handle does not stick out before you climb into the cockpit. Thanks!
